Arkhipov S.A. was elected new CEO of “IDGC of the South”, JSC

Board of Directors of “IDGC of the South”, JSC adopted decision on election of new CEO of the Company on July 8, 2010. Sergey Aleksandrovich Arkhipov, an executive who is very-well known to power industry workers of the south of Russia became CEO.

Sergey Aleksandrovich has higher professional education – he graduated from Almaty Energy Institute. He started his career in power industry on the Far East consistently holding executive positions in regional and interregional power grid companies. He was working in Rostov region from 2006 to 2007 – running “Energosbyt Rostovenergo”, JSC and “Rostovenergo”, JSC, was the first deputy General Director of “Southern Generating Company – TKG-8”. Thanks to his working experience in Southern Federal District Sergey Aleksandrovich knows local problems, has managerial skills to successfully perform duties of CEO of “IDGC of the South”, JSC.

Sergey Aleksandrovich has worked in “IDGC of Center”, JSC from 2008 to present time holding position of Director of “Smolenskenergo” branch and the first deputy General Director of the company from October 2008. Thus, today Sergey Aleksandrovich has successful professional experience on the federal level that undoubtedly will help him to effectively organize work in charge.

Arkhipov S.A. was awarded some honorably mentions and prizes for his work. He got Honorably mnetion of the RF Ministry of Energy for his achievements in development of fuel and energy sector at the end of last year.

Popov A.A., Deputy CEO – Staff Executive of “IDGC Holding”, JSC by order of Shvets N.N., General Director of “IDGC Holding”, JSC introduced new CEO to executives of the Company at “IDGC of the South” meeting on July 9, 2010.

Opening of the meeting Aleksander Albertovich mentioned achievements of managers’ team of “IDGC Holding”, JSC headed by Gavrilov A.I. the previous CEO of the Company in providing secure power supply for customers on the territory of regions within its responsibility scope. Besides, he noticed great success of the Company managers in reduction of losses level by 300 mln rubles according to the results of 2009 in comparison with planned indicators.

“IDGC Holding”, JSC sets the following main goals for new executive: complete preparation to autumn-winter season of 2010/2011 and its successful completion, find quick solution on collection of receivables, realize Plan of activities for financial recovery. Sergey Aleksandrovich will continue constructive dialogue with government authorities concerning quickest return to new system of tariff regulation RAB as well as organize work on future development of distribution power grid complex of the South of Russia.
