“Volgogradenergo”, JSC, branch of “IDGC of the South”, JSC started reconstruction of 110 kV “Kotovo” substation, key power source for Kotovo regional center in Volga region.
“Kotovo” substation will provide power for major part of Kotovo consumers (population – over 25 thousand people).
The substation is also important for systematic security for power grid complex of all Kotovsky region. Some large industrial companies (mostly oil and gas production) function on the territory of this region. “IDGC of the South”, JSC included “Kotovo” substation in its investment program with the aim to increase efficiency, reliability and security of power supply for consumers. Now specialists of “Volgogradenergo”, JSC branch started reconstruction of 10 kV distribution switchboard. Fifteen 10 kV old-break switches will be replaced with modern vacuum switches with new fire-proof microprocessor protection.
Stable and effective equipment exploitation will be provided as well as development of regional power system will be enhanced as a result of this 6 mln. rubles investment project.
