The Interregional Distribution Grid Company (IDGC) of South will seek full collection of debts from Volgogradenergosbyt Company

The Arbitration Court of the Povolzhsky District satisfied the cassation appeal of IDGC of South, PJSC (part of the "Rossetti" group of companies) and canceled the decisions of inferior courts, which were ordered the recover of debts amount from PJSC Volgogradenergosbyt twice lower than the actual required from the debtor.

We remind that last year IDGC of South filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Volgograd region for collection of debts for electricity supply services from PJSC Volgogradenergosbyt. The Power Sales Company did not pay approximately for a year and owed to IDGC of South more than 356 million rubles.

The lawsuit of the power grid company was satisfied. However, by the decisions of arbitration courts of various instances, the total amount of debt was, according to the company specialists, was unreasonably reduced by half and amounted to some little over 145 million rubles.

Being disagreed with such decision of courts, IDGC of South has filed a cassation appeal, which was satisfied by the arbitration court of Privolzhsky district of the Volgograd region. The earlier judicial acts were cancelled, and the case was sent for retrial.

At the beginning of April this year, 403 claims brought by IDGC of South against guaranteeing suppliers, companies and energy sales companies, amounting over 8.7 billion rubles, are currently under consideration in courts of various instances. For three months of this year, courts of various instances have granted 69 suits totalling 740 million rubles.
